Our staff thrive on a wide variety of opportunities and challenges in a range of organisations. Auditing in the central government sector could find you at our national museum one week and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade the next. Our new resource management system also helps us match people’s talents with audits where they’ll be able to best contribute and grow professionally.

Competitive remuneration

We pay for performance. Remuneration is reviewed at least annually, and we also have a performance bonus scheme for senior staff that is tied to the achievement of key organisational objectives. We continually benchmark our remuneration with that of other New Zealand organisations – in both the public and private sector.

Development

We are focused on development – both personal and professional. This means that we invest significantly in enhancing the skills and abilities of our people. Recently we launched an innovative and comprehensive professional development curriculum.

Unlike our CA colleagues, we don’t have any international constraints, nor do we have the inevitable squeeze created by a partnership structure. That means that your hard work will be recognised; you’re more than just a number to us.

We offer employer-subsidised superannuation to help you plan for your retirement, and we provide insurance cover for our staff in the event of death or disability. We also pay your professional membership fees.
