In the Auckland office, we often talk about what's been in the news and it's great to see our grads make the connection – what we do as auditors really does relate to the real world. For example, everyone complains about the motorways in Auckland, but our work with Transit gives us the big picture – we see all of their processes and learn what they’re doing to improve the traffic flow. What we do is more than bean counting and number crunching – we help our clients make New Zealand a better place to live and work.

We have an open door policy in all of our offices. Despite the titles, we've actually got a pretty flat management structure and new graduates aren't often shy about rocking up into a Director’s office and asking a question or for advice about something. As someone who started here as a grad quite a few years ago, that never fails to make me smile.
