In my four years at Audit New Zealand, I've had some great opportunities. I've found that at Audit New Zealand, if you're proactive and put your hand up for something, Managers and Directors will always go the extra distance to put you on really interesting and challenging jobs.

I started out in the Dunedin office and recently relocated to Wellington in order to gain exposure to a broader range of clients and sectors.

One of my clients is Te Papa, where our asset testing included a tour of the museum's backrooms and we got to check out all the rare collections and art. I learned heaps about the behind-the-scenes world at the museum that I would never have known otherwise.

I also travel to Niue every year to audit their government. It's really different to most of our jobs, and it's a pretty full-on trip, but the location more than makes up for it!
