Audit New Zealand is the leading provider of audit services to the New Zealand public sector.  We are looking for CA-qualified people with external audit experience, who are committed to delivering the highest quality service to a wide range of clients. Positions are available to join our teams in Christchurch and Wellington.

Auditors will complete audit work, ensure that audits are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with our quality expectations. They will be expected to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and clients. Occasionally they will lead audit teams.

Supervising Seniors will have well-developed people skills, as well as advanced accounting and auditing knowledge. They fill an important leadership role, as they are expected to maximise the performance and potential of the team that has been assembled for each audit.  They will achieve this through careful planning, good delegation and supervision, and on the job coaching.  They will need to demonstrate professional judgement at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within our unique auditing environment.  Auditors and Supervising Seniors will be working with:

• a variety of public sector entities, completing most audits at their premises;
• our Audit Managers, Audit Directors, and other specialist staff; and
