Kumaren Perumal

Manager, Audit/Information Systems Audit and Assurance

Kumaren joined Audit New Zealand in 2006. His current role involves attest audits and information systems audits.

Kumaren began his career in the private sector in South Africa. He then spent three years with the Auditor General of South Africa as an Audit Manager. He transferred to the Information Systems Audit Division and served as an IS Audit Manager for 18 months before coming to New Zealand.

Sue Bethell

Audit Manager

Sue joined Audit New Zealand in March 2009. Sue manages a range of clients in the local government and tertiary sectors.

Before joining Audit New Zealand, Sue worked for Wales Audit Office in the United Kingdom as a contract auditor, working on clients in the health, local government, and police sectors. As well as working on financial audits she was responsible for the audits of complex grant claims. Sue also has extensive management experience gained within public practice, both in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
